Apple Picking

Hello SOS!

Apple picking is a great way to start off the fall season!

We will be going to Russell’s Orchards in Ipswich, MA on Saturday, October 15th.

Frolic through rows and rows of apple trees eating sweet, crisp apples. When you’re all done picking apples, adults can enjoy the winery on site and children can jump on a tractor hayride!

The bus leaves at 8AM – it is an hour drive from to Cambridge. We will apple pick for a couple hours, then have a picnic lunch together, then enjoy some homemade apple donuts and apple cider!

We should be back by 2PM. If you are a member, this event is free!

If you are a member and your Sloanie would like to come, the event fee is $15.

If you are a non-member, the event fee is $25.

Event fee includes: Bus ride there (and back, if you are good =P) 5lbs of apples to bring home Homemade apple donuts Homemade apple cider Lunch (please let us know if you are a vegetarian) … and hours and hours of Fun, Friendship and Fall Foliage!! Small children will not be subject to the event fee. Please RSVP by October 12th so we know how much lunch to order.
